The right attitude towards pain

HERE ARE A FEW TIPS :

Chiropractic appointment treatment for acute or chronic pain

PREVENTING PAIN

Don't wait until you're in pain to see your chiropractor: pain is the expression of a problem that has already been present for a while. It is therefore necessary to detect it and prevent the unpleasant and disabling effects of pain from occurring.

HAVE IT TREATED SOON !

Once the pain appears, you must not let it settle. The sooner pain is treated, the easier it is to get rid of it…

Pain that has been present for more than 3 months becomes chronic pain and is more difficult to get rid of... But with appropriate and personalized treatment relief can come...

REAPPEARANCE OF PAIN

If you have already suffered from significant pain but it has now been treated, it is possible that it will return at some point. This is what we call recurrent pain. You must be aware of this pattern and either consult your chiropractor before the usual pain reappears and check if everything is okay, or consult as soon as it reappears in order to benefit from a more efficient treatment.

PAIN AFTER THE CHIROPRACTIC SESSION...

If you still experience some pain after a chiropractic consultation, it's completely normal! With chiropractic care, your body readjusts itself in order to heal. In this healing process the pain can sometimes persist (or even increase) after the session for 24-48 hours and finally the initial pain disappears.

Then, for certain pain (notably chronic pain) one session is not enough to completely treat the symptoms. Your chiropractor will assess your situation and establish the best treatment plan for you.
